Hi, guys.
If you’re a patient of mine, you probably know about my dad’s ill health. The last 2 years have been full of late nights, 3 AM trips to the ER, and conversations with him, his doctors, and eventually skilled nursing and hospice care.
He passed away just before the holidays at the age of 95.
And if I’ve seen you since, on behalf of my family, I thank you for your condolences and well wishes.
I’ve been doing my doctor duties but paused in writing this newsletter. There’s been a lot to think about and process.
But it’s time to resume.
For the past two months, I’ve been posting short pieces on X/Twitter to get back into writing. The platform demands brevity and clarity. I hope you’ll find my emails easier to read and that they will be a better use of your time.
Time is the one thing we can’t make more of at will.
I’ll continue to provide insights into fitness and wellness and highlight timely developments in the medical field. But things will be a bit more action-oriented.
Talk to you soon.
